(VOVWORLD) - The 6th national festival of the art of Then singing and Tinh gourd lute of the Tay, Nung and Thai ethnic groups concluded in Ha Giang on Monday.
The festival promoted the cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups to international friends and honored a unique art form of the Tay, Nung, and Thai groups. Trieu Thi Tinh, Deputy Director of Ha Giang’s Culture, Sports, and Tourism Department, said Vietnam’s heritage and Then singing in particular made a strong impression on visitors.
"The festival’s audience, art troupes, and artists hailed the performances and the exhibition zone. The festival attracted artists from 10 to 90 who helped raise people’s awareness of their cultural heritage," Tinh said.
The next festival will take place in Son La province.
