Vice President meets her Indian counterpart

(VOVWORLD) - During her 3-day visit to India, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh met with her Indian counterpart Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday to discuss ways to boost their countries’ Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, particularly in defense, security, economy, trade, investment, science, technology, and people-to-people exchanges.

The two agreed to increase collaboration in regional and global forums and promote peace and stability in the East Sea in line with international law.

Also on Wednesday, Vice President Thinh visited India’s National Memorial and Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, and attended the opening ceremony of VOV’s new bureau in India and a ceremony to inaugurate Vietjet direct flight between the two countries.
