(VOVworld) – Politburo member and Vice Chair of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong received a delegation of the Cuban Communist Party in Hanoi on Monday.

During a meeting with Lazara Mercedes Lopez Acea, Vice President of the Cuban State Council and head of the delegation, Ms Phong said Vietnam and Cuba should steadily improve their political ties while promoting their trade, economic, and educational cooperation. Ms Phong reiterated the Vietnamese National Assembly will always support the Party and State to boost the Vietnamese-Cuban traditional friendship and cooperation.
