(VOVWORLD) - State Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan is making a trip to Indonesia from Saturday to Monday to attend the inauguration ceremony of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.

A solemn state-level welcome ceremony was held for the Vietnamese Vice President last Saturday at Soekarno Hatta airport in Jakarta. On Sunday, Ms. Xuan joined representatives from 30 countries at the inauguration ceremony of Prabowo Subianto, the eighth president of Indonesia.
She held bilateral meetings with attending leaders from a number of countries, including the Republic of Korea, China, Russia, and New Zealand. The foreign leaders praised relations with Vietnam, and expressed a keen desire to strengthen co-operation in economics, trade, investment, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges.
On Monday, President Subianto will host a reception for Vice President Xuan.
