The guests said they are impressed by Vietnam's socio-economic achievements and its development strategy based on science and technology, particularly the semiconductor industry. They noted they want to continue investing in Vietnam and proposed ways to develop the local semiconductor ecosystem and make Vietnam a semiconductor hub of the region and the world.

Prime Minister Chinh said Vietnam aims to be self-reliant and competitive in technology, particularly in the semiconductor industry.

“Vietnam needs support from international friends, especially in chip production, to serve our development. Only by mastering production and strengthening self-reliance can we develop sustainably. Science, technology, and innovation are the key to sustainable breakthroughs — advancing the semiconductor industry rapidly and solidly,” said Mr. Chinh.

The Prime Minister called on foreign partners to help Vietnam develop a semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, fine-tune institutions, and invest in infrastructure and R&D centers to create "Make in Vietnam" products. He said Vietnam will create favorable conditions for foreign enterprises to operate here. The National Investment Single Window will be completed this year, the PM affirmed.
