Vietnam, Belarus strengthen cooperative ties

(VOV) – Two-way trade turnover between Vietnam and Belarus reached 211 million USD last year and the two countries are promoting cooperation in education and training as well as in science and technology.  This was confirmed by Le Viet Truong, Head of the Vietnam-Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Group at a reception for his Belarusian counterpart Vital Busko in Hanoi on Tuesday. At the meeting, Truong briefed a Belarusian Parliamentary Friendship Group delegation on the current socio-economic situation in Vietnam. Busko expressed his hope for a strengthened relationship between the two national assemblies and more economic and national defense cooperation.
