He said investment in training and building peacekeeping forces should be carried out at different levels, taking into account the requirements of areas and female peacekeepers. At the national level, countries should increase revision, preparation, and training of forces that meet UN standards, focusing on pre-deployment training, Mr. Quy said, adding that useful UN documents should be updated regularly. At the regional level, the Ambassador recommended enhancing information and experience exchanges, including cooperation between training centers. At the global level, he said the UN should promote partnerships and shared responsibilities between UN agencies, especially between the Security Council, the Secretariat, and nations who send troops to UN peacekeeping missions, standardize procedures, and fund training activities.
