Vietnam, China further strengthen Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership
(VOVWORLD) - At the invitation of Chinese General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, President Luong Cuong and a high-level Vietnamese delegation will leave for China on Tuesday to attend the 80th anniversary of the world’s victory over fascism and to conduct a working visit.

This is Luong Cuong’s first visit to China as the President. The trip takes place as 2025 is designated the “Year of Humanistic Exchanges” and coincides with the 75th anniversary of Vietnam–China diplomatic relations (1950–2025). The visit is expected to generate new momentum for bilateral ties, contributing to building a Vietnam–China community with a shared future.
Vietnam’s participation in the 80th anniversary of the world’s victory over fascism in China underscores Vietnam’s special regard for its traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China, and reaffirms its consistent commitment to safeguarding humanity’s peace values, promoting mutually beneficial cooperation, for common development and prosperity of countries and peoples around the world. It also reflects Vietnam’s determination, willpower, and strength in striving for rapid, sustainable growth in the new era of national advancement.
