(VOVWORLD) - The third Vietnam Coffee Day was held Monday in Pleiku City, in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Hoang Hiep spoke at the opening ceremony: "This event allows Vietnam’s coffee industry to promote its products to the world. I praise the participating businesses and international organizations seeking investment opportunities and connecting Vietnam’s coffee producers to global value chains."
Vietnam exported 1.9 million tons of coffee to earn 3.5 billion USD in 2018, making Vietnam the world’s second largest coffee exporter.
