(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Culinary-Culture Festival will get underway from April 28 to April 30 at Cua Viet touritst site in Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province.

The event will promote Vietnam’s culture at about 80 booths popularising specialties of the northern, central, and southern regions.
Le Minh Tuan, Director of the Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Quang Tri province, said: “We have selected outstanding dishes of Quang Tri province to introduce at the Festival. We have worked with functional agencies from the central to local levels to ensure security, fire prevention, and food safety and hygiene.”
During the event, renowned chefs will demonstrate the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine, including cooking techniques and the values of each dish and drink.
