(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam recorded nearly 55,000 new COVID-19 infections and 39 deaths on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Health.

More than 207 million COVID-19 vaccine doses had been administered as of Tuesday, with 100% of adults from 18 having received the first dose, 99.8% the second dose, and 50% the third dose.
