Vietnam has no new community transmission of COVID-19 for 37 days
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam reported no new COVID-19 cases on Friday morning, the 37th straight day without local infections, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The national infection count remains 1,100, including 409 imported cases quarantined upon arrival.
1,023 patients have recovered. The 35 who have died were mostly elderly people with serious underlying health conditions.
