(VOVworld) – The Vietnam-Myanmar Friendship Association held a ceremony in Hanoi on Wednesday to mark the 40th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties. Addressing the event, Chairman of the Vietnam-Myanmar Friendship Association Chu Cong Phung reviewed the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Myanmar over the past 40 years. Phung expressed his hope that the multifaceted cooperation between the two nations will be further developed for peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and the world.
