(VOVworld) – Vietnam attended the “Otdykh” International Leisure Tourism Fair in Moscow from September 16-19. The Vietnamese delegation comprised representatives of Vietnam Airlines, Vietnamese travel agencies, and Ho Chi Minh City and other central and southern provinces which are popular destinations for Russian tourists. A workshop highlighting Vietnamese-Russian tourism cooperation was part of the fair. The workshop introduced Vietnam’s tourism potential and services to Russian tourists. In the last seven months, the number of Russian tourists to Vietnam has increased some 200,000, up 27 per cent from last year.
