Vietnam reports 12 new imported cases of COVID-19

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam confirmed another 12 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday morning, all of them Vietnamese citizens repatriated from Russia, raising its total to 396.

The latest cases are two women and ten men between 24 and 53 years old, quarantined upon arrival. They were brought back home on a repatriation flight that landed at Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh province on July 17. Vietnam has now recorded 396 COVID-19 cases, 36 of them active. 360 have fully recovered.

On Tuesday, Vietnam had gone 96 days without a single new Covid-19 infection via community transmission, and there has been no Covid-19 death. Worldwide, more than 613,000 have died of the disease.
