Vietnam reports 42 new COVID-19 cases early Thursday

(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Health announced that from 6 pm on Wednesday to 6 am on Thursday, Vietnam reported 42 new cases of COVID-19.

The new cases included 5 imported cases in Khanh Hoa (4) and Tay Ninh (1) and 37 domestic cases recorded in Ho Ho Chi Minh City (26), Thai Binh (3), Bac Giang (3), Tay Ninh (2), Long An (2) and Khanh Hoa (1).Of them 28 cases were detected in quarantine or lockdown areas.

By 6 am on Thursday, Vietnam recorded a total of 12,264 domestic COVID-19 cases and 1,725 imported cases. The number of new cases from April 27 to now is 10,694, of which 2,910 patients have recovered and 70 patients have died.
