Vietnam sees positive changes in religion

(VOVWORLD) - Religious life in Vietnam has seen positive changes, according to a conference held in Hanoi on Monday by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.

Reviewing religious work in the first half of this year, the conference said religious organizations have been praised by the international community, and the living standards of ethnic minority people have improved, boosting national economic and social development.

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ngo Sach Thuc urged member organizations and central agencies to strengthen communications and encourage people to join emulation movements organized by the Front.
