Thursday’s workshop in Ho Chi Minh City intended to connect supply and demand for technology between the two sides and to introduce advanced technology that South Korean companies can transfer to their Vietnamese partners or cooperate with them to develop.

Over the last few years, the Technology Application and Development Department and Innobiz have surveyed the technology-related demand of nearly 300 small- and medium-sized Vietnamese companies in the fields of agriculture, energy, the environment and mechanical manufacturing. Nearly 400 Vietnamese enterprises have been brokered with 96 South Korean businesses that want to transfer their technology.
