(VOVworld) – Vietnam praises the Spanish Agency for International Development Co-operation and other Spanish non-governmental organizations for their support in many projects to improve the living conditions of Vietnamese women, children and ethnic minorities.
Chair of the Vietnam Women’s Union, Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, made the remarks at a ceremony to mark the 15^th anniversary of cooperation between Vietnam and Spain in Hanoi on Thursday on the occasion of the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo’s visit to Vietnam.

Speaking at the event, Minister Margallo stressed that cooperation and development were important and effective in the Vietnamese – Cuban strategic partnership. He added that Spain would continue to support Vietnam in improving gender equality, with a focus on building institutions and legal frameworks on this subject.
