Vietnam to host Asian Open Police Taekwondo Championships

(VOVWORLD) - 44 police teams have registered to compete in the Vietnam 2024 Asian Open Police Taekwondo Championships, from December 6-9, in the northeastern province of Quang Ninh.

The tournament, held by the Ministry of Public Security, will be divided into two categories: one for policemen from Asian countries competing in sparring, poomsae, breaking, and team events, while the other is for children, teenagers, young people, and the elderly. 

Themed "Strength of the Police Force - Taekwondo Police - Protectors of Global Citizens”, the event will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam People's Public Security forces and the 20th anniversary of the Day of All People Safeguarding National Security in 2025.
