The event coincides with World Tourism Day on September 27 themed “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation” launched by UN Tourism.
This year’s awards will honor 115 tourism businesses and organizations across 11 categories with 18 titles.
According to Nguyen Trung Khanh, Chairman of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, the 2025 edition features several new highlights. “We advised the Ministry to introduce new award categories that encourage innovation in products and services, and align with emerging trends to unlock Vietnam’s tourism potential. That’s why categories such as community-based tourism and green tourism have been added. These reflect Vietnam’s tourism development trends in the years ahead.”
2025 marks the 65th founding anniversary of Vietnam’s tourism industry and the 20th edition of the Vietnam Tourism Awards. Over the past eight months, Vietnam welcomed 14 million international visitors, up by 21%, and served 106 million domestic travelers, a 10% increase against last year.
