Vietnam wins multiple ASEAN Tourism Awards
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam won 17 awards of four categories, including the ASEAN Spa Service Awards, the ASEAN Community Tourism Award - CBT ASEAN, the ASEAN Homestay Award, and the ASEAN Public Toilet Award at the Southeast Asia Tourism Forum (ATF 2025) held earlier this week in Malaysia.

The Con Chim (bird islet) community-based tourism site in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh has won the ASEAN Community-based Tourism Award. Other destinations named on the list include Huu Lien community tourism site (Huu Lung district, Lang Son province); Hong Van tourist area (Hanoi); Toom Sara village (Da Nang); and Co Tu Nam Giang community tourism cooperative (Quang Nam province).

The ASEAN Homestay Awards honor Tha Village Somestay Cluster (Ha Giang Province); Yen Thinh Commune Homestay Cluster (Lang Son Province); Thai Hai Ethnic Ecological Stilt House Village Homestay Cluster (Thai Nguyen); Duong Lam Ancient Village Homestay Cluster (Hanoi); and Giong Trom Homestay Cluster (Ben Tre Province).
The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said that the awards affirm the impressive recovery of Vietnam tourism in the past year, which welcomed 17.6 million international visitors, an increase of 40% compared to 2023.
