Vietnam wins multiple ASEAN Tourism Awards

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam received 17 awards at the Southeast Asia Tourism Forum (ATF 2025), held earlier this week in Malaysia.

ASEAN Community Tourism Awards were won by the Con Chim (Bird Islet) community tourism site in Tra Vinh province, the Huu Liên community tourism site in Lang Son province, the Hong Van tourist area in Hanoi, Toom Sara village in Da Nang, and the Co Tu Nam Giang community tourism cooperative in Quang Nam province.

ASEAN Homestay Awards were won by the Tha Village Homestay Cluster in Ha Giang province, the Yen Thinh Commune Homestay Cluster in Lang Son province, the Thai Hai Ethnic Ecological Stilt House Village Homestay Clusterin Thai Nguyen province, the Duong Lam Ancient Village Homestay Cluster in Hanoi, and the Giong Trom Homestay Cluster in Ben Tre province.

According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, these awards highlight the impressive recovery of Vietnam's tourism industry over the past year. Vietnam welcomed 17.6 million international visitors in 2024, a 40% increase from 2023.
