Vietnam, UAE strengthen business connectivity
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to establish the Vietnam–UAE Business Council as a direct, effective channel linking the business communities of both nations.

At a meeting on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi, Vietnamese Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, UAE Minister of Investment and Managing Director and CEO of ADQ, an Abu Dhabi-based investment and holding company, pledged to enhance cooperation in green energy in line with global sustainability trends. The Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister called for UAE support for Vietnam in developing its International Financial Center (IFC).

At a meeting with Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) the same day, Deputy PM Binh highlighted Vietnam’s needs in infrastructure, energy, the digital economy, and green transition, expressing hope that ADGM would invite international investors to Vietnam and its IFC.
Both sides agreed to co-host an investment promotion event in the UAE in early 2026
