(VOVWORLD) - Viettel is the third fastest mobile network in the world while Vinaphone is the world’s top 2 in terms of 5G speeds, according to US-based internet speed tester Ookla.
Ookla’s ranking spans 15 categories, with Vietnam among the top finishers in two of them Fastest Mobile Network and Fastest 5G Mobile Network.
Viettel scored 82.56 points, trailing closely behind the UAE’s e& and Qatar’s Ooredoo in Ookla’s most important category, Fastest Mobile Network.
The UAE also took the lead in the Fastest 5G Mobile Network category with 81.94 points, followed by VinaPhone with 78.11 points.
