Vietnam, US promote cooperation in response to chemical, biological, radiological incidents
(VOVWORLD) - The National Action Center for Chemical and Environmental Consequences (NACCET) and the Department of Field Inspection and Capacity Building under the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) have signed an Administrative Agreement to enhance capacity in responding to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) incidents.

The signing reflects both sides’ determination to jointly address CBRN-related risks and affirms their shared commitment to protecting human health, the environment, and regional stability.
It also represents a concrete step within the broader strategy for cooperation in tackling non-traditional security challenges, contributing to strengthening Vietnam’s preparedness and resilience in disaster response, while minimizing potential damage.
