(VOVworld)- US President Barack Obama’s scientific envoy to South Asia says broader scientific and technological cooperation between Vietnam and the US is one of the surest ways to promote the dynamism of the Vietnamese economy. At a round-table talk in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday, Doctor Rita Colwell said the US Government has asked the National Science Foundation to develop support programs for international researchers. Ms Colwell described scientific cooperation between the two countries as most effective and underlined the importance of encouraging creative thinking by primary school pupils.
