(VOVworld)- The Asian Development Bank is one of Vietnam’s top donors in providing capital, technical assistance and policy consultancy.

At a reception for the bank’s President Takehiko Nakao in Hanoi on Friday, President Tran Dai Quang said that the ADB’s assistance has contributed to Vietnam’s socio-economic development and poverty reduction. He proposed that the Asian Development Bank (ADB) continue to provide soft loans to Vietnam to realize its socio-development goals and effectively disburse capital sources. Quang stated that Vietnam would effectively manage and distribute the capital. ADB President Nakao affirmed that the bank is keen on affiliating with Vietnam, which has recorded numerous development achievements. He said ADB would actively support Vietnam in financial restructuring, small and medium-sized enterprise development and FDI attraction.
