Vietnam will gain greater achievements in the Doi Moi cause: Chinese expert
(VOVWORLD) - Ling Dequan, a researcher at China’s Centre for World Affairs Studies, says he believes that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam's 13th Central Committee, with Party General Secretary and State President To Lam as leader, the Vietnamese people will gain even greater achievements in the national renewal cause.

Ling, a former chief representative of China’s Xinhua News Agency in Hanoi, said the revolutionary cause initiated in Vietnam by President Ho Chi Minh will surely be carried forward.
Mr. Ling said President Lam’s unanimous election as Party General Secretary was an important event. Ling said Lam’s inauguration speech indicated that the policy set at the 13th National Party Congress would be inherited and promoted and there will be no major policy changes.
Ling said he believes that under the leadership of General Secretaries Xi Jinping and To Lam, the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership will be strengthened, and building a Vietnam-China community of shared future will be carried out effectively and efficiently.
Ling is confident that Vietnam will exploit its opportunities, advantages, potential, and strengths, and manage its risks and challenges to achieve the strategic targets set at the 13th National Party Congress.
