Discussing orientations and measures to boost ties, they agreed to continue to increase contacts and exchanges of delegations at all levels through all channels of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly, and people-to-people exchanges to enhance political trust and mutual understanding.

The two sides agreed to further the role of the Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation, encourage ministries, sectors, localities, and enterprises of the two countries to effectively implement the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

President Cuong suggested that Hungary continue to ask the remaining EU countries to soon ratify the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA), and the European Commission (EC) to soon remove the IUU "yellow card" imposed on Vietnam's seafood exports.

The two sides agreed on the effective use of 200 scholarships that Hungary grants annually to Vietnamese students, prioritize training in fields that Vietnam currently has high demand for such as healthcare, pharmacy, ITC, environment, and agriculture.

The two presidents also agreed to boost effective cooperation in traditional areas, including defense-security, science-technology, agriculture, medicine-pharmacy, culture, tourism, people-to-people exchange, while expanding cooperation in digital transformation, IT, environment, and water resources management.

They pledged to continue to closely coordinate and support each other at multilateral forums, especially at the United Nations, contributing to jointly addressing global challenges.
