Vietnamese and South Korean police launch desks for liaisons

(VOVworld) – Republic of Korean police launched its Vietnamese desk on Friday. Speaking in the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Huu Chi praised the Vietnamese liaison office in strengthening cooperation between the two police forces and bilateral strategic partnership between Vietnam and South Korea.

There are 150,000 South Korean citizens now living in Vietnam and nearly 140,000 Vietnamese in the Korea. The special teams aim to ensure the safety and interests of their respective citizens in each other’s countries.
