(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese culture and tourism were showcased on Saturday at the Autumn Multicultural Festival in the old town of Augsburg in the German state of Bavaria.

The event was co-organized by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Frankfurt and Huong Viet Magazine of Vietnamese people in Germany.
Festival goers were treated to Vietnam’s special folk performances like lion dance, bamboo dance, and fan dance.
Visitors were introduced to images promoting the culture, people and country, including a map of Vietnam with the two archipelagos of Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly), confirming Vietnam's sovereignty over these two archipelagos.
