Vietnamese Doctors’ Day marked

(VOVworld) – 60 outstanding young doctors were honored in Hanoi on Thursday as part of activities to mark the 61st Vietnamese Doctors’ Day February 27.

An award called “ Dang Thuy Tram” was given to 10 doctors in acknowledgement of their contributions to public healthcare.

Vo Truong Nhu Ngoc, Deputy Director of the High-tech Dental Care Center, said that “this award motivates and encourages me to work harder in my field. As a teacher I will pass my passion on to future generations.”

The Hanoi Labor Federation held a meeting with 90 outstanding doctors. Federation Vice President Dang Thi Phuong Hoa acknowledged their contributions to Hanoi’s public healthcare and medical sector.

The Da Nang municipal health department marked the occasion and presented awards to 20 doctors and nurses in public healthcare centers.

Ha Tinh province organized a contest on communications, counseling, and practice on vaccination in 2016. 65 medical workers entered the contest.
