(VOVworld) – Chairman of the European Parliament Werner Langen has said that this is an important time for Vietnam-EU relations.

 At a press conference in Hanoi on Wednesday, Langen congratulated the achievements made by Vietnam in recent years. He noted that the EU is Vietnam’s biggest export market, making Vietnam an important trade partner of the EU, and said he hoped this relation will continue to grow. Langen said when the two sides sign a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in the near future, it will help both sides tap their potential in economics, trade and investment.
