Vietnam’s export to Czech Republic increases

(VOVWORLD) - Export turnover from Vietnam to the Czech Republic increased 9% and imports decreased 30% in the first half of 2019, according to the latest statistics released by the Czech Statistical Office.

Total trade between the two nations in 2019 is expected to hit 1.2 billion USD, up 0.6%. Vietnam’s key exports were machines, footwear, textiles, accessories, and agriculture and forest products.

Vietnam’s Trade Office in the Czech Republic cited the Vietnam Customs as reporting that Vietnam’s exports to European countries, including Germany, Hungary, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Estonia, grew between 3.4% to 16% during the January-June period.
