Vietnam’s GPD grows 7.38% in first quarter
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s GDP in quarter 1 increased 7.38%, the highest growth in the past 10 years, the Institute for Economic and Policy Research said Tuesday.

The processing and manufacturing industry was a highlight of the economy in the period, with a growth rate of 13.5%. Industrial Production Index posted an impressive growth of 11.6%. Export value totaled 54.3 billion USD, 1.3 billion more than imports. Vietnam’s economy is forecast to grow 6.83% this year.
