(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s agricultural, forestry and seafood exports are estimated at nearly 13.7 billion USD for the first half of this year, an increase of 14.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
With this, the sector’s trade surplus was reported at 5.7 billion USD. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in addition to rice and rubber, some main export items have seen growth. In the first half of the year, around 1.1 million tons of coffee was exported bringing the revenue of 2.3 billion USD. Tea, cashew nuts and pepper were also stable in price and volume.
