Winners of writing contest on Vietnam-Indonesia relations announced
(VOVWORLD) - Winners of a writing contest on the topic of President Ho Chi Minh’s first visit to Indonesia and Indonesian President Sukarno’s visit to Vietnam in 1959 were announced at a ceremony in Hanoi on Monday.

The grand prize is a free 5-day trip to Indonesia. VOV President Nguyen The Ky said the two historical visits laid a foundation for bilateral ties between Vietnam and Indonesia.
"The contest attracted a strong response across the country in the two months since it was announced. Many contestants expressed with beautiful handwriting and pictures, their love for Indonesia and honored the friendship between Vietnam and Indonesia and between President Ho Chi Minh and President Sukarno," said Mr. Ky.
Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam Ibnu Hadi said he admired the enthusiasm and creativity of the contestants. On the sidelines of the contest, art shows and a photo exhibition documenting the diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Indonesia will continue in Hanoi until Friday.
