The two‑day festival featured experiential activities at various mango gardens, a mango picking competition, musical performances, folk games, cultural exchanges, a Xoe dance competition, and a Pieu scarf embroidery competition.

In addition, booths were set up to introduce typical agricultural products and handicrafts of communes and towns, cooperatives, and businesses while stations were arranged along Highway 6 to sell quality mango products. 

These activities have left a good impression on a large number of people and tourists.

The event aimed to introduce and promote the Yen Chau mango brand, honor mango growers, and offer opportunities for farmers and cooperatives to exchange and improve knowledge and experiences in planting and caring for mango trees.

A representative of Chieng Dong Commune in Yen Chau, said that the festival gives them the opportunity to promote the commune’s typical mango products and expressed his hope that in the future, Yen Chau will attract more tourists and people to come and enjoy the typical mango products of Thanh Dong Commune.

The festival also contributed to introducing images of the people and cultural identities of Yen Chau District’s ethnic groups inside and outside the locality, while promoting rural tourism in Kha Hamlet, Sap Vat Commune and putting the tourism of the district on a par with others in keeping with its local potential and advantages.
