(VOVworld) – The Ho Chi Minh Youth Union convened its 5^th session in Hanoi on Saturday to discuss ways to improve youth activities in residential areas.

First Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh proposed that provincial and municipal youth unions pay more attention to personnel training at the grassroots level and in remote and mountain areas. He said that youth activities should be diversified to suit each region while disseminating party and state policies. He said: “The youth union should be a political platform for young people. So it is important to help young people thoroughly understand party and state policies.”
