(VOVWORLD) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday on Telegram that he is ready for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in any form.
Zelensky has accused Russia of doing everything it can to prevent a meeting with Putin aimed at ending the conflict.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov earlier said Putin is ready to meet Ukraine's leader only if all issues to be discussed at the highest level are thoroughly prepared.
Lavrov said Ukraine is obstructing US mediation, while Russia is working with the US to solve the crisis. He added that Moscow is prepared to discuss the political aspects of resolving the conflict with Kyiv and is open to working within any suitable framework.
