11-month agriculture trade surplus hits 16.5 billion USD
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s 11-month trade surplus in agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products was 16.46 billion USD, soaring 52.8%, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has reported.

Vietnam earned 5.3 billion USD from agricultural, forestry, and aquatic product exports in November. These commodities contributed to an 11-month revenue of 56.74 billion USD, up 19% from last year.
Seven groups of products – timber and wood products, fruits and vegetables, coffee, rice, shrimp, tra fish, and peppercorns – enjoyed a trade surplus of more than 1 billion USD each.
During the period, Asia was the largest market for Vietnamese agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products, accounting for 48% of total exports, followed by the US with 23% and Europe with 11%.
