(VOVworld) - An exhibition about the ASEAN Community opened in Hanoi on Friday as part of activities to mark the year since its establishment and the 50th founding anniversary of the bloc.

The exhibition introduces to visitors diverse aspects of ASEAN Community.

Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan addressed at the opening ceremony: “Through exhibits, we’ll better understand the beauty, countries, and peoples of ASEAN members, its traditional cultures, the need for environmental protection, and climate change in the region. More particularly, we’ll learn more about the ASEAN community and its three pillars – the Political-Security Community, Economic Community, and Socio-Cultural community. The exhibition will help increase understanding, solidarity, and links among members and help people get closer to each other for a diverse ASEAN culture and a community of peace, stability, and cooperation”.

The exhibition which will run until Sunday will introduce visitors to stamp collections, artistic photos, documentaries, and reportage.
