French public's expectations for President Francois Hollande’s visit to Vietnam
(VOVworkd) - Vietnamese media in France has interviewed several French people and overseas Vietnamese on the occasion of President Francois Hollande’s upcoming visit to Vietnam.

Professor Pierre Journoud from the Paul Valey Montpellier 3 University said both countries have huge potential for cooperation while Vietnam is accelerating its international integration in trade and cultural aspects. Dr Patrice Jorland, former President of the French Vietnamese Friendship Association expected the visit to contribute to regional stability and France will make clear its view on the Permanent Court of Arbitration’s ruling on the East Sea disputes. Professor Henry Dang, an overseas Vietnamese lecturer in Paris 1 Sorbonne University expected that France will support Vietnam more on the East Sea issue and bilateral strategic cooperation will yield practical outcomes.
