Ho Chi Minh City Customs provides training on rules of origin for European businesses
(VOVWORLD) - The rules of origin information in the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) will be introduced in detail to European businesses by the Customs Department of Ho Chi Minh City, according to Customs Newspaper.

According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Toan, Deputy Head of the Import-Export Tax Division, Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department will coordinate with the European Business Association (Eurocham) to organize two seminars on EVFTA rules of origin for the European business community in Vietnam.
The first seminar on electronic C/O and self-certification of origin will open on August 26, 2020, while the second seminar on the Harmonized System (HS Codes) will be held on September 4, 2020.
In recent years, the Customs Department of Ho Chi Minh City and Eurocham have coordinated to organize many training programs and dialogues with European businesses to inform and guide new policies and documents related to tax policies and customs procedures.
