(VOVworld)- President Truong Tan Sang has cut the ribbon to open Nguyen Hue road of flowers in Ho Chi Minh City . It represents the municipal dynamism, innovation and modernity. The road features an image of 5 horses pulling a carriage of flowers in a shape of a clock. The path of flowers also depicts the tranquility of Vietnamese countryside with miniature of rice fields and lotus ponds.  The President earlier joined the opening ceremony of a road exhibition of books. Major highlight includes books about amateur music in the south, with a UNESCO intangible heritage, life and career of General Vo Nguyen Giap and historical evidence of Vietnam ’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes. The two exhibitions will open until next Monday.
