Sa Vi border complex wins ASEAN Tourism Award 2020
(VOVWORLD) - Sa Vi border complex has won the ASEAN Sustainable Urban Tourism Products Award 2020. Local people and authority received the award at a ceremony in the northern border city of Mong Cai, Quang Ninh province, on Saturday.
The 16,000 sqm complex includes a square, major monuments and a service area.
The award was given to Sa Vi at the 2020 ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) in Brunei on January 16. The ASEAN recognition is aimed at honoring localities that has boosted high-quality tourism products in the region. It also provides an opportunity to improve the effectiveness of Vietnam tourism promotion and the "Vietnam Timeless Charm" brand.
