President Ho devoted his whole life for the revolutionary cause of national, social, and human liberation and for a world of peace, humanity, and development.
Former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan said: “President Ho Chi Minh was a great patriot, who pursued national independence and reunification during his lifetime. In his testament before passing away, Uncle Ho wished for an independent and reunified Vietnam with full territorial integrity. He always linked the nation’s ideas with international solidarity. His ideology continues to guide us today.”
Permanent member of the Party Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong said that more than ever before, President Ho Chi Minh’s’ teachings must be well implemented.
He added: “We have upheld the superiority of our political system and great national unity. Vietnam has gained initial success in fighting COVID-19, which won the people’s support and the world’s appreciation. This is a vivid proof of the strong combination between the Party’s ideas and people’s approval and the strength of national unity under the leadership of the Party. This will provide us with motivation, belief, and aspiration for developing Vietnam into a country of peace, reunification, independence, democracy, and wealth to be on par with world powers as President Ho Chi Minh wished.”
