Toolset to process child abuse cases unveiled
(VOVWORLD) - The UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) has cooperated with the Supreme People’s Procuracy and the Ministry of Public Security to launch a toolkit for law enforcement officers in dealing with child abuse case with specific skills guidance.
Major General Ho Sy Niem, Deputy Director of the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security, said:“I hope this material will raise awareness and responsibility for police officers and investigators in the fight against child abuse. It’s a useful tool for other law enforcement agencies in children protection, including Women’s Union, Youth Union, the court and legislative bodies.”
