(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has been named in the top 10 countries for expatriate workers, according to HSBC’s Expat 2019 Global Report released on Thursday.

The annual survey gathered data from more than 18,000 overseas workers in 163 locations. Vietnam ranks number ten from last year’s rating of 18 while the best destination is Switzerland, followed by Singapore and Canada.
The report cited Vietnam’s appeal to expats for job opportunities, high salary, low cost of living, a diverse culture, friendly people, favorable weather conditions, and magnificent landscape.
