Vietnam to connect with international startup community
(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Science and Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Pegasus Tech Venture, the organizer of Startup World Cup, and Ai20x, a prominent incubation center in Silicon Valley, to help the Vietnamese Startup ecosystem connect with global startup networks.

The MoU signing was part of the Techfest Vietnam in the US, taking place on Friday, involving 200 Vietnamese expatriates, experts, and investors. Mr. Md Anis Uzzaman, Chairman of Startup World Cup and Investor of Pegasus Tech Ventures, said he wants to come to Vietnam for high quality competitions such as Techfest Vietnam. Techfest Vietnam is an annual event for Vietnam’s startup community, overseen by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam. The competition attracts over 5,000 participants together with investors and experts every year. Abivin, a Vietnamese startup to provide AI-powered Supply Chain Optimization solutions for enterprises, won a prize of 1 million USD in May after it was crowned champion of the Startup World Cup 2019 in the US.
